For those of you still using e$avers account and if you don't already know, with effect from 4th August 2008 e$avers interests for below $50k, rates had dropped again to 0.5%pa. When I first started putting money in e$avers, it was something like 1.88%pa. It has since been dropping. I have $0 in there now. Maybank's iSavvy savings interests rates remain at 0.88% for $5k to$ 50k, I suspect they may reduce soon also.
Anyway, Fairpriceplus savings account is still unchanged at 1% pa, with a credit/atm/nets card free.
